Outstanding Downbeat Review

A Place to Be, has received a glowing review from America's top jazz publication

, Downbeat.

The review, which awarded the album 4.5 stars, was published in November's edition of the magazine and described the album as "a new, distinctive sound".

Carlo Wolff, who kindly reviewed the album goes on to say, "The music is aspirational and resolute, swelling only to subside and gather strength for another drive. It resolves strongly."
